Therapeutic Modalities

Guided Imagery & Music Psychotherapy (GIM)

GIM is a gentle music-centered psychotherapy that uses sequences of classical music to stimulate imagery allowing one to explore different levels of consciousness for transformation and personal growth. You can find a more detailed description of this method on the GIM page.

Grief Counseling

Grief due to the death of a loved one, a serious illness, divorce, job loss or other life change can be a difficult process to navigate alone. At times it can feel overwhelming and isolating. Connecting with a trained, caring and accepting professional can provide the companionship needed to help one find their way through the difficult journey of grief.

Mandala Drawing

Drawing combined with other modalities or on it’s own allows people to express themselves non-verbally, to access unconscious symbols and metaphors, and to gain new insight and perspective about issues.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

MBSR teaches mindfulness-based techniques to strengthen the mind and develop healthy stress management. It helps by developing mindfulness in every day life, increasing awareness of thoughts and emotional triggers, developing emotional self -regulation, and increasing self-compassion.
